Course Aims

Today’s business environment requires that all professionals in various fields possess a wide range of knowledge, skills and competencies.  All effective professionals need to know how to work with and through people to achieve business results. The responsibility for development and optimum use of people at work is part of every professional’s job.  It is imperative therefore that every working professionals should possess the knowledge, skills and attitude that are essential for effective management of people working under them. 

CHRM, in its endeavor to equip the human resource with relevant skills at the workplace has seen it fit to introduce this Executive Certificate in Human Resource Management among its menu of programs with a view to bridge this gap. CHRM expects that with this training, it will play a major role in equipping Non-HR working professionals both in the Private and Public sectors with competencies required to deliver good people management skills in their organizations.

Target Group

For any Manager/Supervisor with responsibility for recruiting and managing staff and need to understand the basics of HR best practices.  The Course is designed for those who need to know and understand the fundamentals of human resource management for use in their day-to-day role on the service desk.
